Miren Misa was born into a family who loves cooking. She was guided and inspired to explore baking because of her Grandma and Mom. They are absolutely good cooks and bakers!
Miren started selling pastries to her Aunts when she was 15 years old and she would sell during the holidays. She was not satisfied with just selling during Christmas season, so she decided to open her online store and home–based business year round. Luckily, it took off nicely.
Now, she has an online store that specializes everyday yummy goodies and customized art cakes. Her customers pick up their order in her house or have them delivered. Some of her customers are from abroad and pay her via money transfer to send baked goods to their loved ones in the Philippines.
Now, she takes time to share her baking skills in the Maya Kitchen classes. This coming January 16, Saturday, she will demonstrate some Sugar–FREE Desserts. For details, contact The Maya Kitchen Culinary Arts Center at 892–5011 local 108 or 892–1185. |
